Good morning. The high street is having its most interesting week in years, Paris keeps reshuffling its creative chairs, and jewel tones are everywhere. Here is everything worth knowing, in about five minutes.
Fashion
Galliano’s Zara moment arrives tomorrow. Re{form} Vol. 1, the first drop of John Galliano’s creative partnership with Zara, goes live October 1 on zara.com. Shot by Steven Meisel and fronted by his Les Incroyables and Les Merveilleuses, it reworks the Zara archive with a couture hand. The high street is officially levelling up.
Emporio Armani has a new creative director. Dario Vitale takes the creative helm at Emporio Armani, the latest move in Italy’s ongoing fashion leadership reshuffle. All eyes now on what he does with the house’s codes.
Derek Lam is going home. The designer returns to Derek Lam 10 Crosby as creative director, opening a new chapter for the New York label following its acquisition by NYC Alliance in May. Homecomings like this are always worth watching.
Victoria Beckham’s brand turns a profit, at last. After 18 years, the fashion and beauty business posted its first operating profit. A genuine turnaround story, and a reminder that building a brand is a long game.
Law Roach joins ASOS. The retailer named the celebrity stylist its first Stylist in Residence, a newly created role shaping seasonal campaigns and styling content. Practical styling wisdom from one of the best in the business, now at high street scale.
Elizabeth Hurley fronts Joseph Ribkoff’s Edit 57. The Canadian label’s new contemporary line opens with the Icons Capsule: 28 styles in nine looks, with Hurley as the campaign star. Elegant without trying too hard, which is exactly the point.
Home Decor
Zara Home went cinematic. “Atlas of Desire,” the 200 piece collection designed by Luca Guadagnino and Stefano Baisi, spans furniture, lighting, tableware, rugs, and even clothing. Interiors as storytelling, at Zara Home prices. It launched September 26 and it is the week’s most romantic home news.
Roche Bobois takes the party outside. The French house’s Spring Summer 2026 collection treats outdoor spaces as fully realised rooms, with the Formentera modular sofa in Missoni outdoor fabrics leading the charge. Bold colour, generous curves, and not a beige cushion in sight.
Hardware is having a moment. Schumacher unveiled its first hardware line with Modern Matter: 20 solid brass designs launching today, September 30. The Drake ring pull and the Lucite clad Allegra finial prove the smallest details carry a room.
Dior Maison revives an Art Deco treasure. The Godron collection reimagines a fluted 1970s house motif across Limoges porcelain tableware, linens, and bathrobes. Quiet, precise, and very Dior.
