Good morning, and happy Saturday. A beloved designer returns to Paris, a film director takes on the living room, and the industry is already dressing for winter. Here is your five minute briefing on what is worth knowing in fashion and home decor.
Fashion
Kris Brock is back, and romance is the headline. Five years after stepping away from his beloved brand, Brock unveiled his new namesake label, BROCK, during Paris Fashion Week. The 80 piece debut collection for Spring Summer 2027 leans into his signature romance, dreamy florals, lace and ruffles, with most pieces under $1,000.
Skims heads for the slopes with Alpine. On October 8, Skims launched its Alpine collection, going deeper into cold weather dressing with faux fur puffer jackets, cable knit turtlenecks and sherpa pants. Apres ski warmth, ready for the city too.
Frame and Ritz Paris spend 24 hours with Charlotte Lawrence. The denim brand and the legendary hotel reunite for a new campaign starring the singer, following her through a Paris day in suede jackets, dark wash denim and leather pants. A pop up at 15 Place Vendome celebrates the launch.
Reformation taps Alexa Chung, and it is selling out. The 30 piece collaboration plays to Chung’s British classics and vintage romance, from ladylike velvet jackets to cheeky graphic tees and sequin bags. If you dress like Chung in your head, this is the shortcut.
Jimmy Choo celebrates 30 years in pearls. Creative director Sandra Choi’s “Pearls of Wisdom” capsule reimagines the house’s signature embellishment across shoes, bags and jewelry, including pearl topped gold wedges. A quiet motif, three decades in the making.
Home Decor
Luca Guadagnino designs your living room. The filmmaker and set designer Stefano Baisi created “Atlas of Desire,” a 200 plus piece Zara Home collection spanning furniture, lighting, tableware and scented candles, plus a matching Zara wardrobe. Cinema, you can now sit on.
A new lighting collective debuts with Martyn Lawrence Bullard. Designer Alliance, an invitation only collective for designer authored lighting, launched in New York with Bullard’s inaugural collection, including the Cleo Lamp and Mirage Sconce. “Lighting is the jewelry of the home,” he says. Hard to argue.
Solid wood takes over the bathroom. KEUCO and TEAM 7’s EDITION LIGNATUR ART brings hand matched timber grain, dimmable compartment lighting and mirror heating to the bath, launching in the UK this month. The bathroom finally gets the same attention as the living room.
Black Birch Homes expands its collected look. The Fall 2026 collection for Co. House Designs moves beyond the dining room into living and bedroom, with rich textures, moody tones and organic silhouettes. Old world character, designed to feel gathered over time.
Halloween decor grows up. This year’s look skips the plastic fright for glowing candlelight, ceramic pumpkins and deep autumnal shades layered over everyday interiors. Spooky, stylish and genuinely welcoming, pieces you will happily keep out all month.
